Folk Art Pin Cushions by Bonnie Olaveson fom Cotton Way. Pattern includes instructions for five pincushions. They make a nice gift for the stitcher/sewist. You will need scraps of fabric and stuffing or crushed walnut shells for the filling, etc. For the nine-patch mini-quilt you will need 9 small buttons. For the round flower pin cushion, you will need 1/3 yard of 1/2" rick rack. About Bonnie Olaveson: "I started Cotton Way in 1990 and can't believe it has been over 20 years of designing, cutting, sewing, writing patterns, Quilt Market and lots of late nights. I designed dolls for the first 10 years, including a series of dowel legged dolls called Long Leggins. Keep in mind this is when dolls were all the rage! Now I really enjoy designing quilts, bags, table runners and much more. My favorite at the moment is my new All-A-Flutter quilt. Inspiration comes from many things, but a lot of times it comes from events in my life such as weddings, grandchildren, graduations, birthdays, etc. I also love to look at decorating magazines for new colors and trends. Chocolate is a must in the designing process! I have to admit I am completely hooked on M&Ms."
